Same Stain, New Name. 1st off I'm not sure why they have changed the name and label? Maybe for a sales approach... It has a comparable name to Sherwin Williams Superdeck stain and screams use me on wood surfaces right NOW. Hmm, we might be onto something here. WOODLUXE- I love Arborcoat & the label and have used it for well over the last 12 years on cedar homes and decks around eastern Pennsylvania. Why change the name but formula is still the same? Interesting change from Benjamin Moore. So, homeowners, contractors and DIYers when you see this in your local Benji's just know it's the same exact formula and product that used to be "Arborcoat". Which contractors, like myself.. have fallen in love with, tried and true stain product from Benjamin Moore. Looking forward to running some decks with the new Woodluxe water-based Deck + Siding Exterior Stain this year.
